**International/country fee is assessed by the in country team of foreign providers, translators, attorneys and administrative support
**Travel includes: Actual expenses for first trip includes:
2 tickets= $2747.20, food, taxi/transportation = $500, and hosting fee (to the coordinator with the agency) of $1050. Total= $4297.
Actual expenses for second trip includes:
3 tickets (2 for us and 1 for Amaya)= $5851, $300 hosting fee, and approximately $900 for hotel, food, and taxi. Total= $7051
**Savannah went on this trip but I did not include her airline ticket for vaccination/visa fees
Hosting fee is $150/day and includes apartment, interpreter/translator service and local transportation.
**Misc fees not included in this list are including but not limited to: MD co pay visits (for us--for our Dossier), blood work, local fingerprinting ($40), etc.
Hopefully this gives you a better idea of what all it takes.
I also wanted to mention that there is a tax credit we should be able to use. I don't want to hide it from anyone but it will still only cover approximately 1/3 so still lots of money needed.
Unfortunately this number does not include $2000 lost from the first agency. We had to switch because of their unethical behavior. This was a horrendous amount of money for us to lose, but we felt it was the right thing to do.
